NEXUS Ground Control Station
Be in command
When you need to task unmanned platforms to deliver the goods, the NEXUS GCS provides you with an intuitive interface - detailed enough that you can task with confidence, and simple enough that you aren't swamped with peripheral information.
The intuitive interface reduces the training burden. A simple click-and-point paradigm lets you set up patterns (such as paths or circuits) on a map display. You then simply task your platforms to execute these in any order you like, as and when you like.
Be aware
Full motion video is displayed as it arrives. You can pause, rewind, and grab images as you like. Video is recorded on demand.
The optional remote viewer allows you to provide situational awareness to remote users, by transmitting video feeds wirelessly from the GCS.
A gimbal controller function allows you to control gimballed sensors on your platforms. Several modes are available, from nudging a pointing algorithm that does most of the work for you, to taking full control. Sensor footprints can be displayed on the moving map, so that you know what you are looking at.
Telemetry from the SNAP autopilot or non-video sensors can also be displayed and recorded. This can be especially useful for platform or system R&D, where engineering data may be required.
Go anywhere
The NEXUS GCS comes packaged as a stand-alone bundle weighing less than 10kg, with 12 hour battery life. It is housed in a rugged, water-tight case, including a ruggedised laptop hosting the NEXUS software, datalinks and batteries.
